At Apple Childcare we believe children have enormous potential and natural curiosity. We value their ability to partner in their learning as competent and capable individuals. They are innately drawn to exploration and problem-solving, and are active constructors of their own knowledge and we do foster this curiosity. Teachers facilitate learning through sensitive observation, questioning, and provocations designed to build upon each child’s unique abilities and curiosity at all ages.
At Apple Childcare we act with utmost respect, we work as a team with strong and true intentions and we are positively guided with strong images of our children.
Apple Childcare is inspired by an internationally acclaimed and recognized Reggio Emilia approach and philosophy that has been nicely and deeply integrated into our program.
The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy focused on preschool and primary education. It is a pedagogy described as student-centered and constructivist that uses self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. This philosophy and approach originated in 1945 in Reggio Emilia, Italy and has continued to evolve over the past 70 years, founded by Loris Malaguzzi who is considered a leader, philosopher and innovation in education. The program is based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery through a self-guided curriculum.
What We Do
Since our inception in 2018 as a private institution of early learning and development where young children of all backgrounds, races, and ethnic heritages could learn and grow together. We are the pioneers at adopting the exemplary standards in early childhood education for curious, hungry, developing little minds. Our curriculum is enriched and engaging and is designed to help children learn and become academically proficient, even at a young age. We strive to provide an enriching quality environment for our children which supports school readiness and life success. We not only strive but achieve a balance between guidance and freedom, group and individual activities, participation and experiences.
We have committed ourselves to raising the standards of professionalism for our staff. We believe that Well-educated , knowledgeable, and nurturing teachers are the key to positive outcomes for children. We encourage our teachers to pursue specialized training, pursue workshops and higher education alongside we do provide coaching, support and mentoring as they progress.
We emphasize a curriculum for young children that is based on their primary learning mode and we believe that it is “PLAY” and not letters and numbers. We work on the development of core personal characteristic like intentional, cooperativeness, communication, confidence, relatedness, self control, curiosity and so on. It is these characteristics that we believe are more closely related with school success and that is something our primary focus is based upon.
